Who considers hunting a primary objective in lord of the flies?

it is not really an objective for the boys.

It is only a way they express the darkness or savagery within them.

It is fun for them, the sense of excitement, as they are only boys.

They hunt to give them a sense of power, which is part of the theme that Golding is trying to put accross: That humankind have the potential to do great harm. This is done, most effectively, when one has a great ambition, or longs for or has a sense of power.

So no, it wouldnt be a primary objective, merely a self express for savagery, for fun, to have power.

hope that helps! :)Who considers hunting a primary objective in lord of the flies?
