Do you have to bring your own gun when you go duck hunting?

or can you just wait untill the duck lands and run after it with a hammer or something?Do you have to bring your own gun when you go duck hunting?
better bring some old bread with you, you might be able to get one to get close enough to smack it on the head with a hammer. on bigger lakes the ducks will be fairly tame, and used to people, so getting close isn't that hard. don't let anyone catch you, im guessing it would be illegal. also maybe step it up to a large shovel, a hammer is kinda weak unless your good at throwing.

Borrow a gun off the ducks
sure u can run after it with a hammer if u can FLY..if u didnt notice..ducks have this amazing thing called ';';wings';'; that they use when they are being attacked. It helps them to get off the ground and stay off..its an amazing thing called ';flying'; which we humans cant do..so really using a hammer is out of the question unless if u throw good to..but no dont worry u dont need to bring ur own gun..hold ur pointer finger out with ur thumb up, point it at the duck and say ';boom gotcha'; that should do it :P
don't use something stupid like a hammer, just stare it to death. I have heard that if you think about the nember 8, they will just explode. don't know if it's true though!
....or elmer, lol
Get a good side-arm pitch worked out. Whirl a 2-foot long stick, pointed at each end, horizontally over the top of a resting flock of ducks. As they rise off the water, you might hit a couple. Without a dog though, you'll have to swim out after them. Have fun.
Yes. Otherwise it's bird watching.
How to Duck Hunt With Out a Gun:

1. Use a snorkel and hide under the water and wait for the ducks to land.

2. When the ducks land swim ( under the water) to them and grab them by the feet.

3. Pull them under the water to drown them.

Oh yea, if you use decoys then the ducks will be more likely to land on the water and don't forget to buy a waterfowl stamp.
