Cottontail distress, Jackrabbit distress, wounded woodpecker, coyote pups... All are good methods however you'll have the best luck when using an electronic call. www.gofoxpro.com

If using mouth calls: Call for 30 minutes call in two minute sequences starting with quiet calling to attract any close ones and work it up to a loud distress. With electronic calls like the one I linked you'll just use the remote controller about 50 yards from where you sit and click play.
distress calls work best this time of year. set up somewhere you have a good view because when using distress call 95 percent of time they will try to get down wind of you to check things out. use howler in the springtime now it will spook them more often than not
I had great luck using a wounded cotton tail rabbit call. I use a Primos brand call. I usualy call for 2 min. and wait 3 min. till I start calling agian. After about 15-20 minutes, I move on to a new spot. Just make sure you spot them before they spot you. Remember, you're hunting a hunter.
