Is a license required for seal hunting?

I asked about a seal fur jacket in another question and people kept sending me info on hunting them... it looks like fun. Where do I get a license for it? Is a license necessary? Is there a seal season? Do you use a gun or a club or both?Is a license required for seal hunting?
Guns ruin the fur, the blood stains won't come out. Blunt-force trauma keeps the hide pristine.
